Summary
The Program Director assumes primary fiscal and managerial responsibilities for the overall operation of the Advantage Program at MS 113 The Ronald Edmonds Learning Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Advantage Program.
- Nurture partnerships with school administrators, grade level teachers, support staff, students, and families.
- Assist in the development of academic instruction and enrichment arts.
- Participate in the hiring, training, and supervision of staff.
- Keep informed of current trends in youth development and education.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Education, Psychology or Counseling. Certification in Administration and/or Supervision, or Educational Leadership preferred. Applicants must be proficient in MS Window XP, Word, Excel, Vista and PowerPoint. Five (5) years of teaching and/or administrative experience. Experience in out-of-school programming.
