Summary
Seeking a dedicated Group Leader to support after-school academic and enrichment programs by supervising students, assisting instructors, maintaining program records, and fostering a positive learning environment for students in the Advantage Program.
Programming occurs at MS 113 The Ronald Edmonds Learning Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Group Leaders will support teachers and instructors in facilitating academic instruction and enrichment arts.
- Supervise transition from day school to after-school.
- Monitor snack time.
- Support instructors in facilitating enrichment arts and academic instruction.
- Assist teachers and instructors in maintaining program records (attendance, academic records, etc.).
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Education Specialist.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology or Counseling.
- Applicants must be proficient in MS Window XP, Word, Excel, Vista and PowerPoint.
- Two (2) years of providing direct services to students. Experience in out-of-school programming.
