Job Description

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilites:  
Assist with the setup, execution and breakdown of athletic events.

Duties and Principal Responsibilities:
Assist with the setup, execution and breakdown of athletic events.  Responsibilities include preparing competition venues by setting up scorer's tables, team benches, chairs, signage, game equipment, water stations, and hospitality areas; supporting game -day operations during events.

Education Requirements:  LIU student enrolled in an active degree program.

Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience:  

Period of Employment:  Begin:  08/01/2026         End:  06/30/2027

Evaluation procedures and schedules:  Performance will be evaluated by the Game Operations staff based on attendance, punctuality, reliability, professionalism, initiative, teamwork, and successful completion of assigned game-day responsibilities.  This position works a flexible schedule based on athletic event needs, with a maximum of 17 hours per week.
