Job Description

Position Summary: 

The Doctor of Social Work (DSW) program at Long Island University is seeking part-time adjunct instructors to teach courses in its synchronous online program. Applicants must hold an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program. A doctorate in social work or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of post-MSW professional experience. Prior college-level teaching experience is preferred. 
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • teaching assigned courses using approved curriculum materials 
  •  providing regular, timely, and substantive feedback to students 
  • supporting student progress toward course objectives and learning outcomes
  •  maintaining consistent engagement in a synchronous online environment
  • collaborating effectively with program faculty and staff. 
Qualifications:
