Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to directives of the CCI and deploy resources accordingly
- Ensure all work of the Mental Health Service Professional Demonstration Grant Program is in alignment with grant deliverables and CCI priorities
- Participate in regional needs assessment and planning in collaboration with CCI and LEAs
- Conduct a needs assessment with identified districts to determine specialist deployment, and to better understand the mental health needs within that district
- Oversee all data collection, progress monitoring and evaluation
Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience:
- Expertise in evidence-based mental health services
- Spanish speaking
- Extensive knowledge of research-based interventions, instruction, and learning strategies
- Experience providing training, coaching professional development and/or technical assistance
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills that support interacting with families and school/agency personnel
Education Requirements:
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in the mental health field; Doctorate preferred
Working Conditions:
- Typical office setting with privacy, required regular travel to various locations throughout Long Island and occasionally work hours will be required during nights and weekends.
- Computer, copier, scanner, wireless access, phone and fax.
