Part-time Procurement Coordinator
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain Vendor database/add New vendors
- Obtain order confirmations and inform end user of any back order, discontinued item information etc.
- Works closely with Accounts Payable to update supplier information, PO change orders, etc.
- Contributes to the department operations ongoing training, internal communications and work related initiatives.
- Work closely with Director to establish and implement procedures to create more efficient work flow
- Process PO’s and place daily orders following operational guidelines/back up basis
- Various other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of 1-2 years related experience.
- Candidates must have superior “outside the box” thinking and can work independently, in a dynamic, fast paced active environment with strong problem solving skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft or other related ERP’s preferred.
Skills:
- Impeccable math, organizational and communication skills both verbally and written are required.
- Ability to work independently and successfully meet deadlines.
- A team player that possesses Strong follow up skills is required.
Salary Range: $23-$25 per hour
