Purpose or role of the position within the organization (Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities):  

Lab Assistant for grant

 

Duties and Principal Responsibilities:

 Lab maintenance and experiment preparation

 

Education Requirements: LIU student enrolled in an active degree program,  Bachelor or Master degree

Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience: All experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities will be assessed to determine qualification.

Rate of Pay: minimum hourly rate: $17 per hour

Period of employment: Begin Date: 2/1/72026 End Date: 2/18//2026

Evaluation procedures and schedules: Expected to work 15 hours per week
