Job Description
Position Summary:
Assists with the day-to-day running of the Admissions Office. Salary is in accordance with the Local 153 guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves customer service as initial face-to-face and telephone contact point for prospective students, families, faculty, administrators and outside visitors.
- Answer and address all calls through the main line. Direct and transfer calls to the appropriate personnel or office.
- Maintain admissions tour sheet.
- Responsible for maintaining welcome center area and supplies.
- Prepares and processes required electronic filing of invoices, expense reports.
- Responsible for the ordering of office supplies and maintaining inventory.
- Responsible for internal and external mail.
- Enter student applications and data into system of records.
- Prepare packages and shipping information for UPS.
- Maintains telephone list for campus offices and personnel.
- Process applications for incoming students and visiting students.
- Other duties as required by the Assistant Vice President of Admissions
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess a professional demeanor, excellent communication and customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and computer skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Sharepoint, Peoplesoft and experience working in a professional environment.
