Title:  Associate Professor

Purpose or role of the position within the organization (Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities):  

 Title of the Project: Unravelling The Genetics Of Levamisole Resistance In Ruminant Gastrointestinal Nematodes To Inform Mitigation Strategies.

Duties and Principal Responsibilities:

 Fecal examination, Larvae culture, DNA extraction, PCR, DNA sequencing

 

Education Requirements: LIU student enrolled in an active degree program

Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience: General Knowledge of Parasites

Rate of Pay: minimum hourly rate: $17 per hour-17 hours per week

Period of employment: Begin Date: 6/1/2026 End Date: 8/30/2026

Evaluation procedures and schedules: Flexable daytime hours in lab
