Job Title: Camp Manager – Saturday Sessions

Full/Part Time: Part-Time (Spring only); March to May 2026

Reports To: Director of Campus Operations & Continuing Education
Supervises: Campers all ages
Principal Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of camp. Trains and supervises all staff. Organizes and schedules
camp sessions. Establishes and announces camp goals. Plans camp programs and monitors
camp progress. Acts as principal contact for camp operations. Communicates with parents and
children.
1. Design, deliver, and evaluate camp program that meet the needs and interests of youth and
the camps target markets to ensure their delivery in a safe and quality manner.
2. Oversee enrollment/attendance management.
3. Implement human resource management practices to recruit and retain seasonal staff.
4. Manage property development and maintenance needs to ensure stewardship of current
resources and identification of future needs.
5. Oversee the daily operation of day camp including, hospitality, program, business, and
health care.
Secure sufficient coverage in health care staff and their implementation of the health care
plan.
Develop and oversee the business management functions of the camp including financial
record keeping and office systems.
Oversee the systematic approach to database management for campers, families, alumni,
and donors.
Work collaboratively with internal and external groups to ensure the enhancement of the
camp operation.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
At least 24 weeks of previous administrative or supervisory experience in camping or equivalent
experience acceptable to the State Commissioner of Health
Ability to work with children of all ages
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position; knowledge of a second
language preferred.
