Position Summary:
Qualifications:
Required:
- Master’s degree in Broadcasting or equivalent professional experience; bachelor’s degree in communications required.
- Professional experience in broadcasting (radio, television, digital, or multimedia platforms)
- Demonstrated ability to teach eJectively at the post-secondary level or in professional training environments
- Strong knowledge of broadcast production workflows, equipment, and software
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Terminal degree (Ph.D., MFA, or equivalent)
- Significant on-air, production, or management experience in professional broadcasting
- Experience with:
- Digital audio workstations
- Video production and editing software
- Broadcast studios, consoles, and live control rooms
- Streaming platforms, podcast hosting, and social media distribution
- Experience supervising student media organizations or live broadcasts
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive and equitable teaching practices
