Job Description

Position Summary

Assists with the day-to-day running of the School of Business office.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as initial face-to-face and telephone contact point for students, faculty members and outside visitors.
  • Collects any required documents or materials. 
  • Assist students/ faculty/staff in getting documentation needed in connection with organizational tasks. 
  • Assures that proper forms and makes appointments and reservations, as necessary. 
  • Assists with department research projects, as relevant. 
  • Maintain the upkeep of the Bloomberg trading room and School of Business office area. 
  • Assists in scheduling appointments, typing up correspondence 
  • Makes appointments and schedules Teams meetings, as requested. 
  • Maintain department supplies and keeps supply cabinet and storage areas neat 
  • Overall responsibility for School of Business mail. Collects mail daily, make sure outgoing mail is picked up. 
  • Maintains college's lists including, telephone list, room list, adjunct faculty list, etc. 
  • Assists in a wide variety of projects as requested. 
  • Other duties as required. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom and otherwise internet/computer savvy. 
  • Experience working in a professional environment.
