Purpose or role of the position within the organization (Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities):
The student worker provides support to the Athletics Department by assisting with daily operations, events, and administrative tasks
Duties and Principal Responsibilities:
Perform data entry and maintain accurate departmental records. Answer phones, route calls, and respond to general inquiries.
Organize and file documents, contracts, and correspondence.Support staff with special projects and administrative tasks.
Education Requirements: LIU student enrolled in an active degree program
Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Rate of Pay: minimum hourly rate $17 HR
Period of employment: Begin Date: End Date: 6/30/2026
Evaluation procedures and schedules: 9-5pm Monday-Friday
