Purpose or role of the position within the organization (Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities):  

STUDENT WORKER ASSESSMENT TEAM PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES CENTER

 

Duties and Principal Responsibilities:

Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader on Psychological Services Center Assessment Teams; Coordinate testing assignments and timeline for administration, scoring, interpretation, and reports; Review and provide feedback on test protocols and reports;Meet with Assessment Team on a weekly basis (2 hours per week);Facilitate communication between Assessment Teams and Advanced Assessment Course Provide individual supervision for Assessment Team members;Provide group inservice about testing procedures;Consult with Testing Supervisor and Director of Psychological Services Center;


Education Requirements: LIU student enrolled in an active degree program

Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience: MA degree in clinical psychology or equivalent; Extensive experience in psychological testing and assessment; ideal candidate is enrolled in doctoral study in clinical psychology and is an advanced candidate

Rate of Pay: minimum hourly rate $17.00 HR

Period of employment: Begin Date: 9/2026 End Date: 5/2027

Evaluation procedures and schedules: HOURS PER WEEK: variable; WEEKS PER ACADEMIC YEAR: 40, 8 positions
