Job Description

Position Summary:

Browse is LIU’s authorized technology store that offers discounted tablets, laptops, desktops, gaming consoles, and accessories to students, faculty, and staff with a valid LIU ID. Student associates will assist with the daily operations of the store. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student associates at Browse play a key role in daily operations while gaining hands-on experience alongside certified Helpdesk technicians.
  • They develop skills in retail, customer service, business management, marketing, e-commerce, and tech support—valuable résumé builders before graduation.
  • Students are also encouraged to visit Browse for Helpdesk support, including assistance with MyLIU account and password setup.

 

Education Requirements: LIU student enrolled in an active degree program and are eligible for Federal Work Study

Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience:

Rate of Pay: $17 per hour

Period of employment: Begin Date: 8/2025 End Date: 5/2026
