Title:  Associate Director of Alumni & Employer Engagement

Purpose or role of the position within the organization (Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities):  

Engage with alumni, update their contact information, and encourage financial support for the university through the Annual Fund.

The role involves informing alumni about upcoming events, achievements, and the impact of their contributions. 

 

Duties and Principal Responsibilities:

The position involves reaching out to alumni to update their contact information, build rapport by discussing their experiences at LIU, and inform them about upcoming events and university achievements. The role includes encouraging alumni to support the Annual Fund by explaining its impact and securing financial contributions, while maintaining accurate records of interaction and donation status. Providing feedback on engagement strategies is essential to improve outreach efforts and alumni participation.

 

 

Education Requirements: LIU student enrolled in an active degree program

Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience:

Rate of Pay: minimum hourly rate $17 HR

Period of employment: Begin Date: 1/26/2026 End Date: 5/5/2026

Evaluation procedures and schedules: Evaluated on a continuous basis by supervisor.
