The Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment invites applications for a full-time tenure seeking track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in Music Technology, Entrepreneurship &
Production (MTEP). Candidates should be committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning
environment as well as to promoting experiential learning.
This position requires a teaching load of nine credits per fall/spring semester. Candidates should possess
the knowledge and experience to effectively teach undergraduate courses such as Introduction to Music
Technology, Sequencing & Production, Foundations of Mixing, and Foundations of Recording, among
others.
Beyond instruction, additional responsibilities include research (e.g., publish peer-reviewed articles),
leadership to grow the MTEP program, and service (e.g., student advisement, recruitment, and
mentorship, as well as participation in faculty-led college and university committees.
A successful candidate should also show evidence of performing high-impact scholarly activities in the
aforementioned areas by publishing in leading peer-reviewed academic journals, applying for external
grants, and conducting industry-sponsored projects.
