Job Description

Title: Adjunct Assistant Professor 
Department: Communication Sciences and Disorders, Post 
Reporting Relationship: Chairperson

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at LIU Post seeks adjunct faculty for graduate level courses. The candidate will possess the expertise within the context of assessment and intervention practices employed by Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for individuals with various communication disabilities.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and instruct a graduate-level course, integrating the latest research and innovative practices. 
  • Collaborate with the chairperson and other faculty in the development of the course 
Qualifications: 
  • A Master’s or PhD in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field. 
  • Demonstrated expertise applicable to the graduate level course 
Salary Range:$1,000-$1,350 per credit
