Summary
The Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences at LIU Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time tenure-track
faculty position at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level in the field of Drug Regulatory Affairs. The
candidates will participate in scholarship, teaching, and service functions within the College. The candidates
will teach in the graduate Drug Regulatory Affairs program (M.S.) and in the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
program.
The division welcomes applications from a wide range of expertise in Drug Regulatory Affairs. Preference will
be given to applicants with industrial or federal regulatory experiences who are interested in transitioning to an
academic role.
These are 12-month positions. Rank will depend on qualifications and experience.
Minimum Qualifications
These positions require a
Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields. A B.S. degree in pharmacy is highly desirable. A
prior record of teaching in some capacity (teaching assistant, Instructor, Lecturer, etc.) at a college of pharmacy
or similar program is preferred. Applicants must possess a track record of scholarly achievements and
demonstrate potential for attracting extramural funding. Candidates must possess excellent oral and written
communication skills.
